Compost

Compost will dramatically improve the quality of your soil. Compost conditions your soil by improving its structure and texture, allowing it to better retain nutrients, moisture, and air.  Soil with good structure has a crumbly texture, is easy to turn, drains well and is ideal for growing all types of plants from flowers to vegetables.

Mulch

In Texas, mulch should almost be mandatory.  Ask any gardening expert, especially in drought conditions, adding a layer of mulch has a variety of benefits, not the least of which is preventing water loss.  A nice thick blanket layer of mulch prevents evaporation, creates curb appeal, helps control weeds, and even helps protect plants from temperature extremes.

Whether you are building new flower beds or laying out your first vegetable garden, Earth Haulers has the compost or mulch you need to ensure success.

Driveway Material

Concrete driveways are a popular Texas option because they is versatile, durable, low-maintenance and budget friendly over the life of the drive.  Some other commonly used driveway fills are: crushed rock or recycled crushed concrete, concrete washout, decomposed granite and limestone.

Landscape / Common Fill

Common Fill dirt can be used to fill a large hole or low spot in your yard. It is an excavated clay based product that packs well and is typically slightly rocky.  Common fill has no special characteristics.  It can be used for filling holes or bringing up a grade in your yard, but should not be used for a building foundation pad.  Common fill can come in a variety of colors of red, white, black, gray or a combination of all the above.
